How it works
We score every name in our database against both of yours using a blend of phonetic features (shared starting letters, prefixes, endings, syllable count, length) and stylistic features (origin, era, themes). Names that echo both parents rise to the top. The blended section synthesises possible portmanteaus and only keeps those that are real names in our database — so you never see invented or gibberish names.
